My Approach to Couples Therapy

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): This form of couples therapy focuses on understanding patterns that lead to feeling disconnected and working to change the patterns. We will work on building your bond and attachment with each other.

  • Strengths Based Approach: I will utilize a strengths based approach in order to focus on the positive aspects of your relationship and emphasize self reflection.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: With this form of therapy I will assist you in identifying and altering thought patterns that can often lead to conflict.

  • With each couple I will work to understand both perspectives and tailor our sessions to your specific needs as a couple.
